NEW YORK, January 4, 2001 -- Joseph Berkery, President of Berkery, Noyes & Company, announced today that his firm represented Mayfield Publishing Company in its sale to The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. (NYSE: MHP) The transaction was completed on January 3, 2001. Mayfield Publishing Company, of Mountain View, California, is a mid-sized publisher of college textbooks in the social and behavioral sciences and the humanities.
