CT Summation, a Leader in Litigation Support and Electronic Data Discovery, Acquires Top-ranked Electronic Discovery Product

New York, August 28, 2007 -- Berkery Noyes, the leading independent investment bank serving the media, information and technology markets, announces that it represented DocuLex, Inc. in its sale of Discovery Cracker, an electronic discovery product, to CT, a Wolters Kluwer business. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Discovery Cracker is the industry standard for electronic discovery, widely used in the legal industry for end-to-end management of the discovery process, including reviewing, searching, categorizing and producing vast quantities of electronic discovery. DocuLex, based in Winter Haven, Florida, specializes in developing innovative software solutions for the legal services industry.

With its acquisition of Discovery Cracker, CT Summation will offer the first integrated solution suite available to manage the ever-growing volume of electronic data, from discovery through trial.

“This transaction reflects the explosive demand in the legal industry for innovative products that enable legal professionals to analyze efficiently vast quantities of information,” said Peter Ognibene, the Berkery Noyes managing director who orchestrated the transaction on behalf of DocuLex. “The market places a very high value on software solutions that help providers of financial and legal services more effectively manage their workflows and thus reduce risk, improve results and comply with increasingly complex regulation.”
