Mai-Anh Tran joined Berkery Noyes in 2004 from Veronis Suhler Stevenson, where she provided mergers, acquisitions and financing advisory to clients in the media industries. Mai-Anh has over seven years' experience in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions, including previous positions at Credit Suisse First Boston and The Rockefeller Foundation. Significant transactions include the $475 million private placement for XM Satellite Radio; sale of seven newspapers for The New York Times Company; and acquisition of four Arizona daily newspapers from Thomson Corporation by Freedom Communications, Inc. Ms. Tran also ran the Alliance for Downtown New York’s $40 million loan and grant portfolio for Lower Manhattan businesses following the 9/11 tragedy. She holds a BS in economics and information management systems from New York University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. Ms. Tran is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
